Finally after a long wait once again a great Nepalese event Nepal Festival 2010 is being organized at darling Harbour, Sydney, Australia. It’s the kind of event that no Nepalese will be missing unless some acceptable reasons.

Live Music with 1974 AD, one of the most popular music bands from Nepal and beside that Nepalese Food Stalls with the taste of back home locality, Raffle for fun and last but not the least Cultural Show. Isn’t that awesome package?

The event is being promoted by Manoranjan International and organised by NRN Australia, Nepalese Embassy, and Consulate General of Nepal in conjunction with Nepali Community Organisations. That’s really appreciable. Thanks btw.

So, don’t forget to be there no matter what. Update your calendar September 4 at 11:00am – 9:00pm, location Darling Harbour, Sydney.

Have fun. Cheers…!!

P.S. This event will be followed by Melbourne too.

Blog Action Day 2010

Are you a blogger? Do you have any website? Do you believe in unity voice? Do you love to be the part of something that has a good cause for the whole world? Are you social? Do you prefer positive changes and awareness? Are you really kind and love life?

If you are anyone of above then please come in and help vote for the nominees.

Last October, 13,606 bloggers from 156 countries started a global conversation about climate change. Joining in on the conversation were dozens of the world’s leading nonprofits as well as influential voices ranging from British Prime Minister Gordon Brown to the White House.

To make Blog Action Day 2010 an even bigger success this year, change.org needs your help in answering the following question:

Based on nominations change.org received during voting process for last year’s topic, they’ve put together six potential topics for this year, outlined below.

Water: The UN recently declared water to be a human right, but millions around the world still lack even the most basic access, causing widespread disease and the possibility of military conflict over access to clean water.

Human Trafficking: From prostitution to forced labour, more than 27 million people are modern-day slaves, making human trafficking one of the most overlooked man-made tragedies in the world.

Women: The most discriminated against group in the world isn’t a minority: its women. From inequality in schooling to reduced economic opportunities, women face a disproportionate degree of adversity all over the world.

Sustainable Food: Industrial agriculture has overtaken the world’s food supply – creating obesity in the developed world and spreading genetically modified crops and oftentimes undercutting local farmers in the developing world.

Hunger: While many of us may take healthy, nutritious food for granted, more than 1 billion people around the world see it as an unattainable luxury.

Oceans: Overfishing and pollution have decimated untold species of fish and other ocean life over the past few decades, and recent oil spills have shown how vulnerable aquatic life is to man-made disasters.

To vote on your favourite topic, click here.

P.S. If you don’t see an issue you’re passionate about in this list? You can even put any additional suggestions up there in their website.

Who says Nepalese foods are not famous and people are not keen to give it a try? People like Deepak Bista who is in my facebook friend list updated a youtube video today which really grabbed my attention and made me to think that with more effort everything looks so cool and betterment can be done from various ways.

Deepak, as an entrepreneur started business in Adelaide with Nepalese cuisine and from this video I must say he must be doing well and deserves a wow from all of us.

This is also another example of internet marketing, using internet platform like internet social website facebook marketing, youtube videos, etc really can boost more customers. I hope and wish Mr. Deepak all the best for his venture and future. We really are proud of you of what you are showcasing in behalf of all us Nepalese.

If anytime in future, I be in Adelaide, I am definitely going to their heavenly place Sagarmatha Nepali Restaurant, hope others will too.

Sculpture by the sea is a concept from David Handley, Founding Director that came after culmination of many years as a new step in form of exhibition as a major free to the public arts event for Sydney held annually along the Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk.

This exhibition was first held in 1997 and is continuing as one of the major event for Sydney focusing on arts and its importance and awareness in this modern world. It’s an art event driven by the wish to create a major free-to-the-public arts event and a desire to involve and support the enthusiasm of the local community for such a project. This year’s 14th annual exhibition is on from 28 October – 14 November 2010.

The coastal walk begins at the bottom of Notts Avenue, which runs off Campbell Parade, Bondi. The coastal walk can also be accessed by stairs at various points along the exhibition route at Hunter Park, Gaerloch Avenue and Pacific Avenue. The exhibition finishes at Tamarama Park, Marine Drive, Tamarama.

Sculpture by the Sea, also got launched in Cottesloe, 2005, and held annually at Cottesloe Beach, Perth on Australia’s Indian Ocean coastal in a wonderful location with its sunsets, long horizon and the gorgeous pocket of beach near Indiana Tea House. Along with this, the event once again launched in a new location DENMARK in june 2009 taking it further as an international event.

Though the people of earth says they are living in the 21st century but the sadness of Nepalese people is that they still can’t feel like of 21st century. The country has world’s best resources that can be turned to energy but they fail to do that or let’s say they just can’t.

Still, people are forced to live without any electricity for some certain period of the so called 24 hour day. One of my friends complains at Nepal Electricity Corporation, electricity goes off at sharp given time but it never turns on at time. This is really something funny.

Wonder when will all this scarcity ends and sooner after that people could get a chance to live better life.

Hope, Barack Obama’s HOPE. lol.

No wonder, how e-Commerce and its business will look like when implemented to Nepalese business market. Ofcourse a big impact but yet not possible at the moment, have to wait for that moment a bit longer.

So lets jump direct to the point of what are the reasons for all that impossibleness though people can assume more than 100% success in this concept.

And the reason is one and only political unstability. And now there might raise a question why only political unstability??

Because thats the only factor to create an environment in any other country which is “negative environment” at the moment in Nepal.

Just think for a while, if there’s no loadshedding, no protests, no personal rivalry between ministers, no discrimination, etc. in Nepal, how good the environment would be and hence everyone knows Nepalese people are rich though the country is known to be poor, loves to live, knows what’s real food is and have a sense of good fashion and blah blah…..

Still, nothing is over, still everything can be maintained, still…there’s a huge range of hope but all we need is politically safe country.

“Other fear terrorism, we Nepalese fear politicians”. – Xeric Shrestha.

I hope you guys might have thinking why is this blog not updated these days or else what the heck with this blogger, is he dead? Haha not funny. I am alive don’t be too much happy. Well, what I am thinking right now is, actually not only right now but even before that I am not updating my blog. I know its not good being lazy but I swear I wasn’t getting lazy. The thing is I don’t have a perfect internet connection at the moment with me and thats the only reason I don’t get time to update.

And because of that problem its really making me non-creative and lots of self confidence in writing an article. I myself is feeling that I am getting worst, may be a little but of lazy too. I can feel my bad side but still I am confused why I cant solve this problem?

Sometime like right now, I think that, is my blogging habit or the career getting at the ending point? Tell me the solutions, help me out. Atleast give some good things that can motivate me again to blog, since I posted my last blog, I am not feeling like writing again. Why is this happening, confused.

What you me and we have to do is help someone who is seeking help in case of surviving or doing something better for the betterment of life. Everyone knows what conditions can create Poverty in family, society and country. So better to stop all that crimes and bad condition why don’t we try ourselves to do something better for our own best future where no poverty will be and where no one could do any crime for living?

We all live in same earth and somehow we are connected to eachother directly/indirectly so, why don’t we really try to help someone who might come ahead with our small help.

Let’s educate atleast one poor child. Let’s give a proper treatment to atleast one poor family. Let’s take a responsible for atleast a poor family member.

Don’t you think that our small help can change a lot differences in other’s life? Because I am not only one, you are not only alone. We are one and we are many. Everyone’s small help can create a huge magical power which will surely delight the world with its light and smiles.

Last year it made a huge difference in saving environment and this year lets again walk together to clean Poverty from the earth, from this our world. Lets help create a smile on everyone face. Let’s make ourselves safe and proud and dream about our healthy green smiley future.

Lets heal the world with pain, scarcity and crime simply by cleaning poverty from every corner of the world, from your society, from your country.

I think this is actually a season of Nepalese (Nepali) festival in Australia. And it looks awesome to be a part of it. Being in Australia as a student including me we all Nepalese origin people miss their home, miss their country, and miss their family not only because they are far but also because this season is a season of festival in Nepal where very soon the biggest festival of Nepal is going to be celebrated. The festivals like Dashain and Tihar is very soon in few days.

Anyways, let’s come to the topic, let’s talk about the happenings in Australia. Recently there was a Nepal Festival 2008 in Melbourne and Sydney and which was magically successful in the history of events that was celebrated or organized in Australia. I was there in that event and everybody who was there knows that how big it was. There was a Chinese festival too but even though all the credits and glamour for the day was because of Nepal Festival organized and celebrated there.

After the Nepal Festival 2008, there are hips of other events, musical live concerts, functions and Beauty and talent contests in the pipeline that is going to be held here in Australia very soon. Some of the programs like Miss Nepal Australia 2008 (for the first time in the history of Australia), Mrs Nepal Australia 2008, 1974 AD “Live in concert-Rock Yatra”, Nepathya Live Concerts, etc are waiting for the day.

So, I hope all the Nepalese origin people/students here in Australia will have a blast this season. I am counting the days for all these events to come ahead. Let’s see how huge it will be and how fun it will create. And don’t you forget to be the part of it too.
