Sydney Rocked by Nepal Festival 2008
It was awesome to be in Darling Harbour, Sydney, Australia among lots of other Nepalese people and in occasion of Nepal festival 2008 which was been held here today. Including The Axe Band, other lots of Sydney Local Nepali bands too performed here the Musical Live Concert. Even my friend Carlos performed there with his drum, he played a Drum with his band during musical concert.
This festival made a good effort in meeting all the Nepalese people in one same place who are living in different parts of Sydney. It was a mixture of people here today with lots of Nepalese people and foreigners and Australian themselves too. Just few days ago this festival was celebrated in Melbourne and today in Sydney. Melbourne was delighted with this festival and even Sydney now.

It was such a wonderful experience for me and proud to be here with friends, brothers, sisters together celebrating Nepal Festival. I hope this kind of festival will get continuity every year and help to preserve our culture even in foreign countries. It was one of the medium to show our culture and music in overseas ground.
Even the food stalls were fabulous. There were lots of cafes, restaurants, and even Newari Khana Ghar and Thakali Cuisine. Among all those stalls even the colleges from Australia where lots of Nepali students studies was also one of them. I tasted Samaya Baji, from Newari Khana Ghar and Momo too. It wasn’t that delicious like in Nepal but felt good to have it there.
Lots of people who are not Nepali were also here in this festival and were enjoying our culture and music and ofcourse foods. I must say, it was a good day today and guys don’t worry, if you were unable to be here because of some busy schedule, work or job shifts then here are the pictures that you can see and enjoy, I believe you will love them, so check it out.

Thank you for the Festival reports. It is nice to see Nepali culture is being promoted with great vigour in Sydney and Melbourne. We will do the same here in Adelaide in future as well. People of Melbourne and Sydney deserve the credit for doing this.
