Students On Sale

I don’t know how much fact is this but I am pretty sure its not all false. Even I am here in Australia with a student visa and I have my own experience with the these so called agents. They select the college which will be paying them more and good commissions from the annual fee we pay to the college. No matter how the college is and its environment and its education quality.

I am here in SBTA where I have to study Diploma course for atleast 2 years and its a long course ever I have found in Australia for Diploma because in other college Diploma gets only 1 year. This shows that we are spending 1 more extra year for the same course.

In other words I am getting 1 year late for my career and degree or the same certificate which other students from other college are getting quicker than me.

Neither the education quality is good here nor any other things. Only that agents are getting good commission doesn’t mean that they can send us or choose the college for us without any good reason for our further education. We believe in agents because we know nothing about the overseas process and student visas. Its our bad side that we are unable to know the fact in time.

We pay the fix charge to agents for the work and process they do for us and still they give a damn care to our future sending us in bad educational quality colleges. What I say is we are already paying to them for the work they done for us and why still they play with our future and career? If they do the best job in their field, they will surely get much more students like me in future and automatically they will be earning more but what they know is getting a commissions and being rich soon.

Education field is not only to be a rich person, its something like a social work too. If someone becomes educated then its sure that directly or indirectly everyone will be getting benefited.

While we were in Nepal, they shows a different sides of the college infrastructure and when we come here it used to be different then what we are been told. The college are like rented house/building where we can find no Australian students and only Chinese, Thai, Korean, Brazilian but no Aussie. This shows that Aussies doesn’t prefer this colleges because the educational standard is poor here.

I don’t mean that agents are the only people who are wrong and corrupted but also these college who pays agents as a commission to get more and more students so that they can run their college business. Isn’t this shows that nowadays in this world, people are using education as a business instead of making a institution.

Is this a good thing that’s happening in this world in the name of education and playing a blind game with students? Please, if someone who are related to the government of Nepal or any social organization can you please put this words infront of all and stop agents and others playing games with students, who are the future builders of the nation.
